re-addicted ¦ scrapbooking

well i think i might be thoroughly re-addicted to scrapbooking...and that makes me incredibly happy! i have missed the creative hobby, but just couldn't seem to get past the desire to want to do it again and actually doing it. being inspired enough to join a couple of design teams again was definitely a positive thing. but when i decided to devote my friday evening and saturday to the online crop being hosted at cocoa daisy i knew. i knew i was in again!
it was good fun and a great way to spend my weekend...it was easy enough to scrap around the families comings and goings and even attend a neighborhood BBQ. quite simply put...our weekend past was quite lovely :) and i have some scrappy projects to share as the outcome of the crop...

about a boy, challenge was to use circles and triangles on your project

where i am, challenge was to document where you are with places, daily activities, etc

dance, challenge was to use the printed journal cards

dainey, challange was to use something old, something new...since i ahven't scrapped for 3-4 yrs all my stuff was old ;) i can only thank divine intervention that ronda saw fit to mail me some scrappy goodies recently and that i needed to buy some cardstock and slipped some sn@p products into my purchase friday night!

sisters, one of my favourite challenges...using music album covers, the album cover i used for inspiration was our house, madness

and the little mixed media canvas at the beginning of my post challenge was to use a house...not a picture of a house, but to create a house some way.  i really enjoy creating with a challenge in mind...helps me grow creatively as well as to branch out...do something or use something i might not normally. it's easy to get "stuck" on what you know.

i have one more challenge to complete for the crop but am already looking forward to the next online crop! in the meantime, i hope to create more on a daily basis, just because :) there is also the august OLW coming up and the weekly challenges over at exhaust your excess to keep me busy! the current e.y.e. challenge is to use 10 pattern papers on one LO...should be a fun one to tackle! and sue has introduced the design team for e.y.e. go check it out and play along!

happy creating and happy tuesday!
